All this crap about Europe buying things we make has no evidential foundation today. For a start, what do we make that they can't buy now and would buy if we rejoined?
All we need is a government that can boost our economy. The longer the current bunch of idiots stay in power, the more difficult eventual recovery will become. Recovery will be painful because we have to reduce government expenditure at a time when demand is high. None of the political parties have a credible plan for that. I mean, shit creek just about covers the mess we're in and rejoining the EU, with the £25 billion or so per year that we'd have to chuck them so that France can continue its farming practices and for Ireland to continue calling the shots, will only delivber more pain.

There is no need to cut back on public services. Just the waste, bureaucracy and unnecessary projects undertaken by the government.
