I had a fire safety inspection of my property via gas service. They put a heat and carbon monoxide alarm in the kitchen (boiler and gas cooker in there). Smoke alarm in the front room. Smoke alarm in the hallway. Mandatory apparently.
I got a good guy. He said he hated trunking so threaded the wires in the ceiling. Nice job.
