I can only think that maybe they will change the name of ‘Sky Atlantic’ to reflect the fact that the new HBO stuff will be replaced by dramas produced by Sky Studios.
I’ve heard it said that Sky One may make a return, and I think this is a possibility, in which case it would be sensible to re-name Sky Max as Sky 2.
All speculation at this point, of course.

This isn't true, basically anything pre April 2022 was only extended from 31st December to 25th March, basically what's left non exclusive after that date is the same as Sky in Germany & Italy now until it's reaches then end of it's original licensing term
