If it is, then it’s not really news. We already know that Sky viewers will get the new streamer and that they have a done deal about maintaining their ability to show past HBO shows on Sky Atlantic.

I can only think that maybe they will change the name of ‘Sky Atlantic’ to reflect the fact that the new HBO stuff will be replaced by dramas produced by Sky Studios.

I’ve heard it said that Sky One may make a return, and I think this is a possibility, in which case it would be sensible to re-name Sky Max as Sky 2.

All speculation at this point, of course.
