Last night, and soon again, Morrison's chocolate cake, after years of heartburn-related abstinence (plus caffeine and booze, neither of which I miss. Maybe cider at Christmas). That's real chocolate, not chocolate-flavoured ersatz. In my Next Gen fanfic, "Shadow Of The Io'Pera", Guinan calls Creole food Earth's finest gift to the galaxy outside of chocolate. In one of Vonda N. McIntyre's Star Trek novels an alien calls chocolate Earth's finest contribution.
I really hope they get the cocoa problem sorted. GM pestilence-resistant cocoa?
