And now it's coming after me.

"Renew Driving Licence at 70 ONLINE".

So I started the process.

"GOV.UK ONE LOGIN required."

It's not the same as the Government Gateway login.

So I plod through the procedure, until it asks me to use my smartphone to photograph my driving licence and my face.

I don't have a smartphone.

"We'll send you a letter that you have to take to the post Office (in the city centre) where they will scan your driving licence and take your photo".

ONLINE? My big hairy 'arris.....
