Question I confess I'm out of my depth

I tried to run gpedit.msc - Windows couldn't find it. i tried several methods shown online; some give DISM error code 87, so there's something wrong.

One I found apparently, allegedly worked...but Windows still can't find it. Now I've read that it doesn't work on Windows 11 Home. Is that right?

I'm running 23H2 (with a Registry hack to delay updates till next year - I don't like these new features...and Windows works ATM). Build is 22631.4890.
