Re: English Cricket

The Ashes is always a tough tour, particularly if you're in the UK and want to watch it. The players have it easy.

1st Test - 2:30 to 9:30 am. Just about doable if you can get a early night, although the temptation for lightweights is to join after lunch at 5:10am

2nd Test (day/night) 4:30am to 11:30am - should be a doddle if the alarm clock works
Her indoors might not be happy about the early start though.

3rd Test 12am to 7am - incredibly difficult. Do you sleep before or during the intervals or in the morning? Or a bit of each?

4th Test ( Boxing Day) 11:30pm to 6:30 am. This is the killer. Still fuelled from Xmas day the first session should be ok, but after that a lot of black coffee is needed.

5th Test (New Year ) 11:30 to 6:30am On the face of it, a killer again, but if you survived the previous Tests your body will be on Aussie time by now...

Hopefully England will lose these Tests in 2/3 days as usual, which will make things a lot easier
