Only internally, not noticeable on the outside, except when I got a bit bunged-up and started whistling through the reduced side.
In the RAF anyone on the base who developed a stuffy nose was asked to take various doses of Pseudoephedrine, with a view of finding a dosage that could be used by pilots and aircrew without them bouncing around inside the aircraft. A few doses had me wide awake for a couple of days at a time.
Whilst I was taking it, I dried up so much that my Eustachian tubes were bone dry. Perhaps they will try that in your case?
