But do read the small print, on YF’s website it does say that they will pay ‘up to’ £300 to cover Early Disconnection Fees, not necessarily, the whole lot. Also just to add to the confusion, it mentions what you need to do, to whit;

Send a copy of your final bill from your current provider to cbo@youfibre.com and include:

Your full name

Your address incl. Postcode

YouFibre order number e.g. ORXXXXXX from your order confirmation email.

The final bill needs to show:

Your full name and address - this should match your YouFibre order details

The Early Termination Fee for Broadband clearly itemised - it should be £300 or under to qualify.

It’s the last line which adds to the general confusion, a literal reading would suggest that if your bill is over £300 you get nothing back, not even £300 towards the cost! Oh and this only covers the ‘broadband’ portion of the bill, so if you are also paying for TV or phone, that’s not covered.

Like I said, read and understand the small print and Ts and Cs, don’t blindly believe what a random salesman knowing on the door promises!
