We don't need reminding but that is one of his big roles that so many remember him for. General Zod was a worthy opponent to Superman and Stamp captured that role perfectly as he had a knack for playing great villians.
He was also really great in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Young Guns and Wall Street.
RIP to a great actor.
