Test cricket is mostly really dull (with exceptions of course).
Not everything in life has to be instant gratification.

‘Real’ cricket aficionados appreciate and understand the subtle nuances of 4/5 day cricket. The toss and the decision to bat or bowl. The condition of the wicket that can and usually does alter over a few days. The ability of a batsman to build a long innings and not have to throw the bat as soon as he comes in. The skills of the bowlers who are not restricted to 4 or 5 overs so have time to work out plans for each batsman. The weather conditions that can also change to affect the outcome. If you want a McDonalds type of cricket then the Hundred is for you. If you prefer fine dining, some classy wine and an espresso with a mature cognac then only test cricket will suffice.
