The west of Scotland begs to differ
we went for a walk this morning and missus is still picking grains of sand out of her hair. I had to wash salt spray off my glasses when we came in.
I’m down at the coast on my favourite island this week; we came down last night because we knew the ferry would be at risk of cancellation today. The ferry has indeed not run at all today, which means the island’s only bus route (connecting the town to the ferry slipway) has also not been operating. There are no day-trippers here at all, and the place is deserted.
