Would never be cheap enough, why should my family have to pay to dispose of my corpse? If they want to fine but I would rather the money is used to pay for the celebration and wake. I know some people and communities believe in honouring the body of the deceased, and I know that this can be an important part of grieving so I do not want to belittle those for whom funerals or cremations are important.
I also know bodies can be left to science but that isn't always easy and what if you die away from home or move? You have to rearrange things. I'd like to have any bits of me that can be used to save lives to be used to do so, anything else used for research at whatever unit is closest to my place of death and anything remaining just got rid of, I'm not needing it anymore.
