Indeed. Destruction by death of an entire opposing army is not a strategic aim in itself. It would also be illegal by the Geneva convention. You can’t wish death on a surrendering soldier, even when you know that when the war is over he may re-join the army he’s a member of.
In the case of Israel there’s also the rather delicate matter of its massive reserve force consisting of those who have recently finished national service. There are up to half a million Israelis who can be called to active duty at any time, over and above the 150k or thereabouts in the standing army.
Are the brain-dead metropolitan lefties of Glasto and their sleb cheerleaders wanting them dead too? Because that’s starting to sound a bit genocidey, and they said they didn’t like that sort of thing.
