You’re reading the thread selectively as per, and failing to account for nuance and humour versus more serious critique. Perhaps you failed to read my most recent post in this thread (prior to this one):

He used to go as far as the local Royal Mail delivery office in the village about 12 miles from us, leave the parcels there, and then slip a ‘sorry i missed you’ card in with our mail, which the postman would pick up and deliver to us the next day.
