With all of these companies, so much depends on who your driver is. If you get a good one locally, things will be good. But you can usually tell if you don’t have a regular driver, or if your usual guy goes on holiday and someone else covers the route. That’s when things start taking a day longer to arrive, or they leave stuff in weird places (or at the wrong house).
At our old house, Parcel Farce were the worst of the lot because the driver was a lazy #!*$! who couldn’t be bothered doing the more rural stretches of his route. He used to go as far as the local Royal Mail delivery office in the village about 12 miles from us, leave the parcels there, and then slip a ‘sorry i missed you’ card in with our mail, which the postman would pick up and deliver to us the next day.
