Agreed, good news for viewers would be FTA.

I don't think TNT are in trouble at the moment as they've got wealthy co-owners. it's just always been incredibly hard for secondary pay TV broadcasters in the UK like TNT to make money.

Hence the constant changes in the broadcasting landscape which has seen the coming and goings of Setanta, Viasport, ESPN, BT Sport, Premier Sports, Eurosport, etc.

For how long WBD decides to continue shouldering the losses of TNT or if they can turn it around remains to be seen. But for now, they seem to be committed.
