Ok I couldn't for the life of me remember the name bottle in my original post so put jar. Although very good to know of the microwave trick I couldn't put a plastic bottle in the microwave.
I put hot water in the plastic bottle then started to shake continuously until my arms hurt. What I found out while resting is when the crystallised honey is submerged in hot water it loosens. So I was violently shaking the bottle for nothing.
