(Edit) as if by magic my Xitter feed offers me this nugget. Note the ferry’s bridge has no windows - these were painted on (yes, really) to make the thing look presentable for what was a pure photo op. Note also the date, 8 years ago. This thing sat in the water for
8 years before entering fare-paying service.
