Any impact will tend to carry on afterwards. I doubt he remembered the share price for each and every day, and so could possibly have remembered the share price from later that year. The figures in the post state 2.97 times, so that is not far off 3 times. The article doesn't say "more than".

Still nowhere near comparable to Reeves, Rayner, and Starmer, amongst others. Eg 10 is nowhere near 5 and a half or four and a half. Clothes are not miscellaneous office supplies.
