As MrM says, Eufy gear is good, however I use a doorbell by Aosu (about £100 on Amazon, maybe less). The range is very good and you can dial it down if you want. I have it on a low setting and it still picks up people as soon as they enter the driveway about 5 M from the door.
I realise I haven't answered your initial question, unfortunately I have no experience of the Ring doorbell.
