If, gaming isn’t of interest, you can go super cheap on graphics cards. I have a fanless Nvidia GT710 card which runs a 1440p monitor with no problems and is specked for 4k. These can be picked up for less than £50. If you wanted multiple HDMI monitors, then a GT730 would do the trick for around £80.

I do some video editing and transcoding and my video card holds up fine. Just make sure the card is upstream of the processor in terms of air flow
