Good idea that, and I'll try and do the opposite, lol.
Well it's now 3 days after my cataract op. This is for Jo or anyone else too. I won't say much about the op as I'm in the less I know the better camp. But if anyone want to know step by step or have any questions then please let me know.
The results.... Well after op, weird as hell. Double vision and everything was wrong. Trying to look at the TV it was 45 degrees out from the other eye. Confusion and stressful at time. After a good 6 hours it starts to settle. I was wearing an see through eye guard so things were blurry due to that but things started to come together slowly.
Day 2, all you want to do is rub your eye but you can't and it's so annoying. Gritty and sore. But after I took the guard off, the result is dramatic. It was quite hard to process it all at the start. I could see again but it's like going from 10% to 100%. A huge transformation in colours, sharpness, and vividness, no blooming around lights etc now. But it's a shock to system of how different it is. I had my right eye done as I couldn't see a thing before the op. My left eye I thought was good, it's what I relied on for so long.
But now after the op it is showing just how bad my left eye which I thought was good, it is really terrible now in comparison. So hopefully that'll give you the idea of just how bad my right eye was at the time. But also how different it is now after the op. I know will have to get my left done at some point but it's something I will now look forward to.
I've got to put 2 types of drops in 3 times a day for 3 weeks, and one of them is like stabbing a needle in your eye, but a small price to pay. I will have to wear reading glasses still. But the results is jaw dropping.
I hope it helps anyone who might have to go through it or thinking about it.
