what linux version did you pick i have used linux on a spare SSD i have tried linux mint and unbuntu and zorin os i perfer linux mint but too many program dont work with linux for me but it lot better than it used to be hopefully it will keep improving to give people more choice
I have been using Linux Mint. For me it covers everything i do. For specs please see atttached
