No we don’t. We can simply decide it’s not for us. We don’t have to accept every “advance”. I’m watching much less (it’s not the content), and I’m not going to adopt a technology for my entertainment if it doesn’t offer what I need. Most of the new tech is going backwards, removing features, flexibility and making it less easy to use whilst pretending to make it easier.

I’m more likely to ditch TV if they go the “wrong” way.
