I have been trying to use the octoprice site but it would never accept that the API/my account number existed. 
 
I did have a couple of glitches with  readings  during the first  with a couple of weeks at the new rate disappearing    
 and when I phoned  it was soon sorted out  and  the correct figures for my period on Tracker were used when my bill was generated. 
 
Yesterday after yet a another fruitless attempt to register  a nice lady octopus found that (despite my account now being sorted) I still had a marker on my account and  she wondered whether  this was the cause of my problem 
 ..so...fingers crossed  with the marker on my account having now been removed it  be recognised by octoprice.

 If it's fixed it should work straight away.
Strange that your API worked with the Octopus Compare app, or maybe you don't have to paste in the API link as I can't remember?
