I use FFDshow pass through which does everything through HDMI from the 4090 to AV.

I hate setting up codecs can take quite a bit of fiddling around. But once it's sorted it works very well. Thing is you only need to do it the once so it's easy to forget the set up when you do a new install which is usually very rare for me.
