Police called by social services on 2nd and 4th January after a social worker attended but couldn’t get an answer at the door. What’s the betting nobody from the police bothered to follow it up. A week later the social worker had to ask the landlady if she’d help get access. As the child wasn’t on the at-risk register and social services don’t have the right to force entry it’s hard to see what more the social worker could have done in this situation. So very very sad.
