Re: Would you get a hotel room without TV?

A TV is entirely incidental to whatever reason I’d ever have for being at a hotel. It would always be for a conference or a stopover while traveling and either way I’d not plan to spend long enough in my room to be wanting the TV. So it wouldn’t be a deal breaker in itself, though Premier Inn at least seems to have realised that their guests value a large screen, whether or not it’s actually being used to watch programmes, and in all their rooms refurbished in the last 5 years or so they have a connectivity plate below the TV where you can connect an external source via HDMI, RCA composite and (IIRC) even VGA.
