If I had a V6 and it broke and got a replacement V6 then it's so much easier. It's a nightmare that the copy options is broke but that's another story, but at least you could search for all the shows you watched and set a series link regardless of if it was due on in 1 week or 6 months.

I'm not sure if this is still an issue or not, but if you are recording a series and it moves channel then the series link on the 360 won't pick it up and you miss it, I believe.
Yes, you can retrieve programmes you have missed and no longer in the guide. Just use the search button, and when you’ve typed it in, select it and add it to your watch list.

Changing boxes is always a nightmare. I made a list of the programmes on my recordings and bookmarks before changing to the 360 and simply put the lot on my watchlist when the new software was uploaded.

As for the series link management option on the TiVo, I used to use this to take off the series links I no longer needed, but I realised after a while there was no need to do this. On the 360, if I no longer want to watch a programme I have on a series link, I just go to my recordings and delete the series link (it’s one of the options when pressing ok on the ‘bin’ symbol) or if it’s on the watchlist, just press the ‘…’ button on your remote control when on the picture of the programme you want to discard and choose ‘Remove from Watchlist’.

The specific functionality of the TiVo may not be available on the 360, but you can achieve more or less what you want on the 360, just in a different way.

It’s also worth mentioning that although the ‘wish list’ is not a feature available on the 360, it doesn’t have to be a scheduled programme to flag it up. Most stuff is available on a search, and even if it’s only currently available on the Virgin Media Store, you can still add it and when it comes up on a subscription service you are paying for (or indeed on a free service), that additional option will then show and you can view it by that method.
