Such a shame about the 2008 financial crash, wasn’t it? Don’t forget that when David Cameron’s government came to power immediately after the election, he put more money into the NHS which Labour claimed was ‘reckless’ in view of the financial crisis.

Labour would not have put the NHS in a better position because while it is good as spending money, it is completely incapable of controlling the budget.

If you do not believe that Covid had a devastating impact on the NHS, you are not thinking this through, are you, Den?
