Exactly. Old Boy needs to acknowledge the lies of Johnson, accept the outcome of British democracy from a Conservative government and then move onto putting the case across for a future Conservative Government. One of which might be that the Conservatives are not afraid to punish their own leaders if they break the law - turning a negative into a positive and here the contrast with Blair might be used beneficially.

Pretending that it's a woke plot by remoaners is not going to cut the ice. And pretending that because there was no enquiry over a former PM's lies to Parliament should mean that all future Prime Ministers can lie without consequence defies logic.
