Best not to use it at all, but for the sake of £3ish a week after getting a good deal from Virgin, personaly i'd avoid the visits, letters etc and buy a TVL and obtain the benefit of what i'm paying for.
If you read the OP he clearly asks about keeping it in the box anyway
