Because it IS ridiculously expensive! The £25+ for a monthly mobile tariff is twice the market rate for mobile and the VM element is extortionate too. The company thrives on people not realising and just continuing without renegotiating at the end of their discounted contracts.
I’m using the break option I’ll have with these price rises to have the OpenReach wiring reconnected for our house and then I have options with FTTP fibre. Might go Sky Stream, might go NOW on a Roku. All considerably cheaper than Virgin.
Never had the need for 1Gb broadband in our house
