Some seem to be being put into a new contract and others not.

The problem with being put into a contract is that that those thst are will be forced to pay the oncrease in 2024 and possibly 2025.

Hopefully Ofcom will outlaw the proposed change to above inflation price increases without the ability to cancel.

I don't hold out much hope though to be honest. Their remit from the Government is a softly softly approach to regulation
