Re: Freeview changes
Here is the up to date list of space on Freeview being unused.
24 hours slots:
-New slot free on D3&4 (Not in Wales)
-Old Create and Craft Extra (Where Together TV/RealityXtra 2 broadcast) slot on COM4
-Old Quest slot on COM4
Part time slots:
-Jewellery Maker/PBS slot on COM6 (5am to 8am only)
Slots information right as of January 6th.
What’s changing soon on Freeview:
Soon:
*D3&4 has added room to launch a new 24 hour broadcasting channel outside Wales.
*SDN still got TWO 24 hour slots free for a broadcasters to launch / move to COM4 on Freeview - But SDN are letting use one of them right now by Together TV and RealityXtra 2.
ANY BROADCASTER WANT TO LAUNCH ON FREEVIEW?
*D3&4 has added room to launch a new 24 hour broadcasting channel outside Wales.
*Together TV will need to stop broadcasting on that slot - Together TV are playing nothing on a week by week deal.
*A new 24 hour slot is free on COM4/SDN - Quest old slot for a broadcaster to launch / move to COM4/SDN on Freeview.
*BBC B Mux may have room to add up to two SD Channels.
All information is right as of January 6th.

I think the following may happen in 2023 on Freeview.
*GREAT! movies action will launch in Wales
*S4C may move to BBC A using the slot that BBC use to broadcast BBC Scotland in Scotland
*With E4 Extra moving or 4Music relaunch on Freeview using that new D3&4 slot
