It seems like it's a bit too much geared towards tech enthusiasts with the federation approach. I've listened to tech reporters cover how clever it is but I don't know any normal person that would want to care about which server they join, they just want an account. That friction to entry will prove a problem unless they completely abstract it away but they won't as it's too fundamental to their whole ethos.

As Chris says unless Twitter goes completely down the pan I am sticking with it. I don't follow political commentators on there thus making most of Musk's drama less impactful.
