There's an argument that she should be propped up until least November so that the announcements on 31 October can be made to stabilise the markets.

There's another argument around that she should be let go of as soon as possible so as to stabilise the markets.

Frosty lost all credibility in my eyes when he criticised his own trade deal but doubtless was a muppett prior to that.

I'm not sure the markets would react favourably to another chancellor being appointed after Hunt has presented a credible front to the markets.
The argument to hang onto her is solely a political one. She’s just a human shield to roll out the bad news stories to give the new leader a clean slate.

The question is how far she can drag down the party in the polls between now and then.

It’s times like this you wish a former poster, but still an avid reader, was still around to give us the inside lines from CCHQ.
