Just got my Hub5 a few days ago, and can confirm that its working great for VOIP on the default or modem modes.
On the things to look out for part. When it starts up in full router mode (the default mode) it will come up on the network on 192.168.1.1. Which may collide with your 3rd party router. It did have a fight (ip address collision) with my Asus router until I put it into modem mode and then it went back to using 192.168.100.1 and everything was happy again.
As for performance, its working great so far and I'm not noticing the same lag spikes or lockups as I was on the hub4.
