He was in the Harry Potter films as Rubeus Hagrid, and very well he played it, too. I laughed when this huge, towering ogre battered down the door to Hut-On-The-Rock, looking menacing...then said, "Sorry 'bout tha'" and put it back!
He was also in Goldeneye as Valentin Zukovsky. "Walther PPK, 7.65 millimetre. Only three men I know use such a gun...and I believe I've killed two of them."
He'll be missed.
