Ok thanks. So I should have asked VM to send me a hub 5 instead of the hub 4?

Or would it mean my 1gb card will still not support it? So I would need to either upgrade my motherboard so it had a 2.5gbs card on it? Or can I just buy one and put it on my current motherboard?
