The trouble I've got is that it only fails intermittently at some point during the day and I couldn't MAKE It fail on demand.
I don't want to lie to ntl - so am I likely to be charged for the call out if they turn up and there's nothing wrong with it (At that point)?

My PACE STB had intermitten problems, the engineer arrived next day fixed the problem although I could not reproduce the problem. As a bonus he gave me a Samsung box. To be honest I cannot tell any difference in performance terms, but its refreshing to have something new
