There is nothing. VM will not allow a DOCSIS modem they have not supplied on their network. You cannot buy your own modem and use it in the UK. It won't work. There are no workarounds.

You can put the SH3 in modem mode and use your own router. You still risk suffering with SH3 Puma Chipset issues.
