I dropped my mobile in the pond while fixing the pump and it was fine after a day on the radiator. You may see problems with it if you get corrosion on contacts due to the immersion though
Between a rock and a hard place then, problem with the xda is if you remove the battery you lose all instaled data, have back ups of contacts and the like but stand to lose a lot more: have not got it directly on the radiator but on a towl, don't know if that will make a difference
