La Liga was popular here (on Sky Sports - an add on) but it didn't survive on Eleven Sports.
Being highly viewed when a secondary contract on a popular pay-tv provider in your own territory doesn't necessarily mean they'll pay for your content. Or that there isn't readily transferable content from elsewhere if you removed it.
