According to the Times Leader, investigators accused Lynn of using a typewriter to complete an absentee ballot application and signing his mother’s name, who died in 2015.
Lynn is registered as a Republican in Pennsylvania, the Times Leader reported.
In the criminal complaint cited by the Times Leader, the absentee ballot application listed the reason for needing the mail-in option as travel because the woman was going to be visiting her grandchildren through the election.
The application had been flagged, and Lynn’s mother’s voter registration information from before her death led investigators to Lynn’s house, the Times Leader reported.
Lynn eventually admitted to investigators that he filled out and signed the application, the Times Leader reported.
