Yeah, It won't happen, but they treat their voters with such contempt.
Even something like keeping stations open until 10 pm so people can vote after work is fair. In the states, many of them close at 7 pm which means huge amounts of people have 1.5 - 2 hours after work to get to a station and vote. No wonder they have such long queues.
Their ballots seem to be really confusing as well. They look like betting slips. This is probably unfair since they have, at the same time, House and Senate elections as well as all manor of state-level offices to elect and even very local ones as school commissions, police commissioners,
sanitation commissioners and so on.
Too much of American culture seems to hinge on the idea that legal and administrative tricks to advantage your side are fair game so long as you get away with it. I would say here there is a general sense of fair play that breaking the spirit of would cause public outcry even if it were technically legal. I think without conventions and a general moral sense of what you should do that things can unravel quickly.
