We are in the middle of a seismic realignment that is shaping both parties for decades and voting intentions is additionally hard to predict given all the changes eg mail-in ballots the absolute undeterminable shy Trump voting (those who do not share they intend to vote Trump with friends and family and pollsters).

It’s an entirely believable possibility that polls are not capturing an accurate picture of the electorate.
