The picture with the pin is from the B2780HSU as in your thread title, although it's something that is meant to be removed during installation.
The model in your picture is completely different, ie GB2730QSU. That one has a variant where the stand is fixed, G2730QSU. If your monitor has a large hole in the stand for running cables through(like in your picture), then it's the variable height one. Links included to Ilyama product website, complete with online manuals.
